Meet the Founders

We’re Hannah and Nick, the heart behind Salty Clean, a husband-and-wife team bringing a fresh, local approach to trash bin cleaning in San Diego.

Our story began in 2021 when we first met. Hannah, a reading specialist and owner of La Jolla’s Ignite Learning Center, and Nick, a serial entrepreneur, quickly discovered a shared love of service, community, and coastal living. By 2023, we were married, building our life together along with our sweet dog, Rory.

For years, we dreamed of starting a venture together. After exploring many ideas, we discovered the emerging industry of trash bin cleaning. We love that it helps the environment, eliminates odors and pests, provides instant results for customers, and keeps our neighborhoods looking beautiful.

And that’s how Salty Clean was born. With Hannah’s strength in organization and education, and Nick’s gift for uplifting others and coordinating meaningful experiences, we’ve poured our passion into delivering top-notch service with a personal touch.
